Sherbourne and Northleach Loop

Distance: 14 Miles
Durartion: 2-3 hours
Difficulty: 3/10
Terrain: Road

A fairly flat and quiet family route to the National Trust Sherbourne Estate.

This super little route traverses the beautiful countryside and passes Lodge Park, an old game lodge maintained by the National Trust.  Take care crossing straight over the A40 and then decend to the Windrush valley and the village of Sherbourne.  A quaint village shop and cafe awaits or you can explore the Sherbourne Estate, another National Trust site.  The route then ambles its way to Farmington, before taking the underpass back to Northleach (lovely pubs and market town).  A short ride back to base avoids all the major roads.

A lovely half day ride or a great day out with the family  - all the roads are very quiet country lanes suitable for:
  • Hybrid & Road bikes
  • E-Bikes
  • Trailers and Tag-a-longs
  • Tandem
