Roman Villa Short Loop
A scenic and hilly route to the National Trust Roman Villa, situated in the idyllic valley of Chedworth woods.
The route takes you cross country via Fossebridge (lovely Pub) where you cross the busy A429 Fosseway and take a quiet country lane to the edge of the woods and then continue to the National Trust site. A great little NT cafe awaits and some interesting archaeology if you choose to go in. They the route retraces its path along the valley and takes in Yanworth and Stowell Park Estate on the way.
